Macs do not suck and they are good for a lot more then just video editing and they can browse the internet just as good as windows and linux can and macs have better graphic card's. Also the new ones have intel chip's so you can install yor precious windows xp on them.I believe you just hold the shift key or another key when you boot it up and it will start up like your precious windows.Also apple makes a huge difference in each new model. An example is like the difference is between the g3 and g4. Apple multplied the processor speed by around 50 times. Also most of you windows lovers are immature except for 1 or 2.Plus mac's are better with music and the only reason they cost alot is because they are worth that much and do you window's lover have any proof for when you go saying over and over again talking incorrectly saying MAC'S SUCK!

Well how do they suck then do you have any proof. Even expert's on both operating system's agree the mac is bettter. Well, OS 10.1 is out. The first major upgrade to the world's most advanced operating system out before XP.yup. Well, I've had OSX for about 7 months or so.it has crashed 0 times. That's a big fat 0. Never ever never.

I've used Wintel PC's too, good ones, and they just can't hold a candle to the Mac or the Mac OS. (OS 10 or OS 9 and below).I would literally pay someone money if they could crash my computer without going into the terminal, logging in as root, and mucking about in the bowels of the system. Not to mention the power of PowerPC architecture. Well made movie, too.

Has anyone else noticed that all the Windows users posting here(with the exception of one) have grammar and spelling one would expect to get by pounding random keys. While our Mac crew all seems to be able to spell and type quite coherently, as well as actually making replies that do not include the words 'dick' and 'suck'. I've got both an AMD Duron 700nhz(running Windows 2000, ME, and 98) and a PowerMac G4 Dual-processor 500mhz running OS 9.2.1 and OS 10.0.4(soon to be 10.1). I keep both machines in top condition by pruning out unecessary files and running drive repair and defrag utilites on each regularly.

The Mac virtually never screws up. In fact, I have you to experience a system crash with OS 10. I can actually sit a Windows user down at my mac running OS 10, tell him to crash it, and he won't be able to. The Duron box is still unable to consistently work correctly in windows. I'm constantly bombarded by strange error message(an amazing variety of them), as well as frequent system and application crashes.

It's bloody annoying. From everything i've seen, the Mac's lack of popularity is based mostly on the ignorance of peope. Get a mac, you won't regret it.

Wow you are stupid. I am sorry, but unless your computer is shit, that won't happen to you. On the other hand, you can have a top of the line MAC and it will fuck up all the TIME! MAC's are nothing but retarded PC's. User friendly my ass.

At least PC's can tell you and error message through simple text. MAC's on the other hand, sing it to you, speak with weird voices. Stupid hippy faggots who mad MAC's. What the hell is wrong with you? All you can do with a MAC is make web pages, music, or video editing. Other than that, I MAC's aren't even good enough to surf the internet. When you first could buy and I MAC, youd didn't have the necessities to surf the internet.
