Laguna Backpacker, This app works fine in El Capitan and Sierra Several reviews claim that the app doesn’t work in El Capitan or Sierra. That’s not true—I have used the app in both versions of OS X to label inkjet-printable DVDs on a Canon MX-922 printer. Setting up the app is tricky, and that issue is compounded by the fact that it appears to be a port of a Windows app. The Print dialog has two pages. On the first page, the ‘Output’ field must be set to ‘Direct to CD/DVD’, and the Printer and Tray Type dropdowns must be set to match your printer. On the second page, the ‘Layout’ dropdown must be reset to ‘Quality and Media’; the Media Type dropdown must be set to ‘Printable disc (recommended)’; and the Paper Source dropdown must be set to ‘Disc tray’.
Not the easiest app to set up, but once configured, it does a good job. And to the reviewer who criticized Apple because they hadn’t configured the app correctly: This isn’t an Apple app. It’s from a third party developer, and it’s their responsibility to maintain the app so that it continues to work under newer versions of the OS. And it’s your responsibility to configure the app properly for your printer. I knocked a star off my rating for the difficulty in configuring this app properly, but I’d give your review a one-star rating, if that was possible.

Goodmanrw, Great Product I bought this product to replace SureThing label making software I used on Windows. Although I don’t use the inserts and all of the other stuff I will say that the label making software far exceeds what I had. I am able to do all types of backgrounds, text and labels. The software is simple and intuitive. It has a wide selection of stock templates so I was able to find my template for the labels I use and start using it. One of the great things is the horizontal and vertical rulers that help you micro adjust your specific labels in your printer. I have had zero problems on the Mac.
This product met and exceeded my label needs. Goodmanrw, Great Product I bought this product to replace SureThing label making software I used on Windows. Although I don’t use the inserts and all of the other stuff I will say that the label making software far exceeds what I had.
