Facebook Freeze For Mac

When I am on Facebook it is sluggish and freezes sometimes to the point where I have to kill the browser in task manager. It seems to be only on Facebook and only on one account.

My personal account stalls and freezes up, yet my daughters on the exact same PC using Firefox doesn't. I have tried several on line trouble shooting links and nothing helps. Facebook works fine in internet explorer/edge, Chrome, and etc., but it is a pain to have to jump from one browser to the other. This issue just started about one week ago. I have tried several on line trouble shooting links and nothing helps. Facebook works fine in internet explorer/edge, Chrome, and etc., but it is a pain to have to jump from one browser to the other. This issue just started about one week ago. I was clowning around and I shut down all the ad ons/plug ins and the problem disappeared so I one at a time turned the plug ins back on until the problem came back. The problem seems to be with the Flash Video Downloader plug in. Turn it off and Facebook operates just fine.

Turn it on and Facebook hangs and freezes up. Not sure what the issue there is because I have always used that downloader, but there is some kind of conflict between it and Facebook. I am also still puzzled why it only affected my account and not my daughters because she and I use the same computer.
